I just want to say, I have been eating as recommended 15/6 and have been loosing weight! Everyone is starting to notice! I have lost a total of 20 pounds, but inches MUST be GREATER! I only wish I took my measurements prior to starting!

Jorge, I am a 61 year old female. I have been doing your program on my own since the 3rd week in January. Weight loss has seemed slow to me. But....as of today...I am 10 pounds lighter!!!! And...I have lost 21/2" off my belly!!!!! Thank you sooo much. I feel better than I have in a long time. My intense sugar & carb cravings have disappeared and I am satisfied.
At first I thought maybe I had gone too far off track ( too old or too slow of a metabolism) for it to work for me, but slow and steady is just fine!!

I answered the survey to help others by sharing what I think would work for me. The truth is, I followed the 15/6 for a month, threw in some exercise and walked a brisk mile a day...and lost nothing. Needless to say, I am very dissappointed, but I hope the plan works for others.
You have helped me to lose 10 pounds since starting the Belly Fat Cure, which I happened to buy in the book aisle of a local grocery superstore. I am a marathon runner and have been trying for the last seven years to lose that last stubborn 10 pounds. I thought I would have to run unto the ends of the earth to do so, but it would never happen no matter the distance or intensity I ran. Also, last weekend I was able to drop 1 minute and 20 seconds off my best 10 km (about 6 miles) running roadrace time . I'm 42, mother of 3 and am now at the weight I was when I was 18 years old. Thank you so much for educating the masses about the hidden ills of excessive sugar consumption. I have cut my sugar intake down drastically. I always considered myself rather educated about eating well. Little did I know that sugar was my weakness. I just found your Belly Fat Challenge site today. Known about you from "8 Minutes inthe Morning" days. Today, I've watched tons of your video clips on healthy living and exercises (12 second sequence), made a list of healthy meals and snacks, measured myself, sent the word out to my husband and 3 daughters, then went to the store and bought lots of healthier foods. My husband came home and said "where's the tape measure" WOW! He's excited that we're gonna be fit and healthy together. To top off my day, you send this cool link and give us the gift of song. Hi Jorge, This is the food plan I have waited my entire adult life to do. I was so depressed going thru menopause and gaining weight.. It was fate that I got that magazine that day and read about the belly fat cure. I have changed my entire eating habits and do not miss anything I stopped eating to start my new way of life. I'm 70 yrs and agree so much with Layla's post - seems weight loss is slow as we age. I had started earlier and gave up - suppose I didn't think I could live on 15/6. I started again just four days ago and the inches are already dropping as well as a few pounds. Enough to keep me motivated. And most important, I learned I can handle 15/6 very well. I'll soon be adding walking outside and going to water aerobic exercises.

I started the Belly Fat Cure back in January when I saw you on a morning news program. Or rather, I cut sugar out at that point and then had to go searching for the book a week or two later to see what the rest of it was all about. The sugar part has been remarkably easy to drop, even though I do miss a few things (Ice cream now that the weather is warming up). But I do find it hard to keep the carb count down, but I'm trying. I've dropped about 14 pounds since January, not a huge amount, would like it to be a much bigger number, but it's enough to now be noticable at work. Yippee. I never measured myself, so all I have to go on is the fact that clothes are looser now, another yippee. I've got a long way to go, I'm not just trying to lose the Belly Fat, but it seems slow and steady is working fine for me.

I am into my fifth week now. I followed the first women over 40 menu and then the six week paid menus. I am following the ultimate menu -currently in week 4 -(with a glass of wine or two) and have lost 11 pounds. At one point it was 12 lbs, but it went back up. I really enjoy most all the food, but sometimes miss my comfy food night. a cheesy casserole with pasta. You know! I have aerobics 2x's a week and try to walk the 1 mile track a few times a week. I am so close to getting into the 20's. That is my goal and I am so much more aware of sugar in our foods! My goal is to stay on track. I went to Cosco the other day and tried two food items becasue I had missed my snack. I actually felt myself get a bit sick to my stomach because I just am not used to eating like that anymore, There's incentive! Thanks Jorge. I've been trying to drop at least 10 pounds now for over a year! I still want a few pounds more and then maintain!

I dropped 2 sizes and now I am able to fit in my old clothes again and feel more confident. Hi Jorge, I was very excited to go on the BFC menus but after 3 weeks i'm very dissappointed.My weight goes down then up then down & up . i've only lost 1.6 lbs. Sure would be nice to get a refund. about 5 yrs. ago i did the adkins diet & i LOVED it my weight melted off. But after alot of stress & things in my life i gained it back 70 lbs. I could never seem to get back on it .So I thought i would try this it's almost the same but the bread pasta & rice. Well any ideas? Sorry to be a downer. I'm just venting.
I've been on the 15/6 for only 3 days and I've already lost 3.5 lbs and 2" off my waist while still enjoying my food! I have another 30lb to go but feel confident i'll get it all off with this approach. :-)
