Today I am still in New York City and I had the pleasure of interviewing Ms. Rhenotha Whitaker again! She is Dr. Oz’s Lifestyle Correspondent and my dear friend We discussed redoing our New Years Resolutions, but today is diet edition. 

Rhenotha wants to lose 50 pounds by July 25th, her birthday! She created a hashtag #row35 when she was 35 and realized she wants to and needs to get fit before her 40s. 

Today I taught Rhenotha the importance and ease of intermittent fasting and healthy fats! 

Intermittent fasting means you don’t eat for 16 hours. Ideally, you stop eating at 8:00pm and don’t eat until lunchtime, 12:00pm or 1:00pm, the next day.

A lot of people think this is too hard because we have been taught that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but luckily you can have what I call “Morning Magic: in the morning to satiate your hunger before lunch. 

"Morning Magic" can be coffee, tea or water, you can have up to three cups in the morning. The magic part is that you can add MCT oil, coconut oil, or grass-fed butter to it in order to satiate your hunger. The best part of this is.. you can eat healthy fat to get fit! 

Then at lunch time, you can have a large, protein-rich, fat-rich, and vegetable-rich, lunch and the same thing for dinner. These meals should consist of anti-inflammatory foods such as: blueberries, broccoli, and asparagus to name a few. 

Rhenotha reminded us of how cheap this really is! You can go to trader joes and get coconut oil in easy on-the-go packets, and cheap MCT oil online on Amazon! 

She tried my diet this week and said she wasn’t even hungry in the morning! If you mix this diet with my “Just 2 Moves” workout, you are guaranteed to lose up to a pound of belly fat every day!
